Went to the thrift shop and bought a shiny crystal fan pull for .50...a blue glitter lamp for $3.00, and 2 bottles of glitter nail polish for my toes for $2.00.

It's been a shiny, happy, day. :autism:

I got a letter in the mail from the landlords saying we should cut back the ivy out the front within 14 days. So this morning Kayleigh and I got the ladder and big bin out the front, Kayleigh did all the cutting down whilst I threw all the bits of plant into the bin. It's all done now and they had better be happy with it.

Taking advantage of the weather and am doing a few loads of washing.

What do you get per pound there?  I have pretty much stopped taking scrap in due to how low the prices have gotten and am only collecting nonferrous

$1.15 lb for the yellow brass.

Had a bin of insulated copper laying around too, .50 lb.   

I was going to hoard it a bit longer, but I need some room in the shed. :P

$70 in all.

I'm sticking with the non-ferrous too, I don't stop now unless I can flip it (whole or parts) or it's something interesting.

Got up early today to take my car into the Mazda dealership. I then waited at the bus stop which was right outside and heard someone toot the horn of my car. It's very distinctive.
