Got money for the month from the bank.
Quick grocery shop.
Made dinner (red beans and rice with green onion chicken sausage)

Did an extraction on some morphine caps
Recrystallized the result of the above
Dissolved in acetone, added some base to absorb the HCl
Reacted with propionyl chloride, slowly adding more base in stages until CO2 evolution ceased
Adjusted PH of a sample to be suitable for IV, after cleanup.
Shot test sample
Kicked back with a rollup and a glass of grapefruit juice (with the bits in it of course:))
Came back in from the kitchen after finishing my smoke, stretched out on the sofa, enjoyed the fruit of my labours and then took a nice long nap.

Watched family guy, watching american dad. More grapefruit juice, its just so damn yummy. Had another shot  of the 3,6-dipropionylmorphine, lazing back on sofa, reading unread posts on I2 and reading The Hive archives and enjoying another rollup.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

Been awake since 1:30 a.m., listened to music, posted on here, thought about stuff.  :tard:

I don't remember anything other than several long overlapping web meetings all day and celebrating my son's birthday.

She woke YOU because SHE needed food? why didn't she just go and get some? she isn't the type that expects people to chew it for them and then vomit it up into their open beaks, I hope?
Hahaha, no. It is just that I am the one who can drive to Macca's. We did end up having a nice breakfast there.

^Thanks! At 13 he is kinda meh about it, but he loved getting a bunch of rare, exclusive Funko Pops. He has a sleepover tomorrow night, so an all-night binge of videogames, horror movies, and all-around loud teenage boys.

Schlep them over to the Palace.  They'll be too far away to bother you.

Hmph if I've managed to get to mcDs in tthe middle of the night, barely able to stand, pissed as a fart, then I'd tell my kids to do the same, if they could walk, physically speaking (not that I'd be too hard on PR, she sounds like a total sweetie) but plenty of times, been there done that after downing too much EtOH and waking up ravenous, finding I need to buy chow but too late in the middle of the night to do it. I know PR has walking trouble, but so do I. Every step I take without being doped up against it to the point of near passing out (and I often DO) is agony. NOT that I wish that on the PR of course.

@ Lestat - The PR's main weakness/paralysis is in her lower right arm, wrist and hand.  The right leg is a wee bit shorter and less muscular than the left, but it doesn't slow her down (but she can't run).

Today is Father's Day. My daughter is making a playlist for me of many of my favourite songs :)
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Can run, won't run haha. Me, that is. Well not unless somebody is coming after me I'd not like to catch me. Otherwise I avoid it if at all possible. Sod that for a lark. My joints ache enough without that.

Posted here a few times. Read some threads I wish I had been around for. I might've actually had sme good advice if I could've stayed away from sarcasm and sad attempts at being funny.

Finish the work almost on a working practical route to chlormethiazole (a sedative-hypnotic of the old school when the likes of barbiturates, methaqualone, ethchlorvynol were in common use clinically, although this one is still used), starting from thiamine (vitamin B1)

The synth bit is done, now only  going to get some more bicarbonate then basing any HCl salt formed by decomp of the thionyl chloride used to synthesize it and distillation to collect product. The job was done, that much is certain by my old man complaining about the STRONG smell of it in a beaker in the air. Sooner the better its done, to avoid loss due to vaporization. I think it smells pleasant enough but the old man hates it.

Went out for pancakes at the diner
Worked on restoring a Pulaski I got last week
