What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Spent the afternoon doing bookkeeping. No fun. Then watched Goodfellas on Blu-ray.

That's funny.  My wife and I watched Goodfellas on Sunday night also.

Took kids to a small exhibition. And at the exhibition told people they had the order of some stuff wrong.
They looked at it in amazement and shock, because I was right.
They checked pictures from the start of the thing, to see if someone had been pranking them. But no, it had been wrong all the time.
Then we changed it right on the spot.
Went to my mother. Saw two of my brothers, SIL's and nieces and nephew.
Got my hair cut.
Picked flowers from my mother's garden.
Went home by train, knitting further on a pair of socks.

The Michaelmas daisies will not last long on a vase. But they were nearly done in the garden too, and they will still be pretty tomorrow.
The Hydrangeas will last for a very long time. The soil where my mother lives is acidic, so her Hydrangeas have an amazing variety of intense blue-green-purple colouring in autumn. Absolutely love it.

Tried to stay quiet  in between running errands, doing laundry, and feeding the family. It never quite works out how it's supposed to though. Quiet time and managing a family don't really go well together

You are talking about attempting to "force" a condition where one can find a way to resolve the many differences between nearly exact polar opposites.



One day at a time AND one pole at a time. Just never stop trying.

I have now been awake long enough to be past the "want to be back in bed" stage.

Did a load of washing (tea towels and regular towels), swept up a load of leaves out the front and went to the gym.

Went to the computer repair shop to collaborate with the owner about work needed to get it back.  Changed some stuff on the computer after going to the library to access my stuff.

Finished day 2 of the Conference. Brain is officially full and I'm exhausted.

Went swimming with the ladies. The way to get there was awful. But, despite two kids getting a panic attack, we had a good day.

Also drank some tea and snert at the ex's place after swimming.
Made a massive fruit-salad to follow that when we got home.

Cut the hair of the oldest.
