Got up. Woke a kid, made her breakfast. Tucked her in again. She's a sorry mess, flu.  :(
Shitty, it is exam week for her. Three tests today.

Flu is racing around big time here. Over 10% of the kids at school is sick because of it. Big bunch of teachers too.

Oh well.

Thats the party in my head as I don't have to put up with someone watching utter crap on the tv all day, spouting random meaningless crap at me and generally being very annoying.
Me at work is more like tv on quiet for background noise, sat at my computer keeping an eye on the gate and doing my patrols.

Got up had coffee watched the cop cars go up and down the highway.

So far this morning someone shot a 69 yr old local man through his picture window, and then ransacked the house...and then the Walmart 5 miles up the road was robbed by 2 armed men.

The local schools are all on lockdown and there are cops in the air and everywhere.

Another quiet day in paradise. ::)

Sounds fun do you have a scanner to better listen in to what is going on?  You can do it on your phone but a real scanner is much better,  I always find it kinda helpful thought he police in my town encrypt all their coms you can get a good idea just listening to the fire department and neighboring towns.

So far today
 I got my new blowing machine out of the van and cleaned it up.
Made a list of things I need at Home Depot to make it work smoothly
Deposited a couple checks

Tried to hurry Ceilidh up so we would get to therapy on time (she has DBT and I have therapy with another psych) but to no avail, we were late.

Looked at a hierarchy of interactions I can try to make in rl in the next two weeks, not sure about some of them. Came home and cleaned up cat spew.

Became a contractor for the house repairs.  The permit was cheaper that way.
