Everyday I have been engaging in a mental exercise to base my actions on intelligent will rather than primal cravings. it has resulted in more and more chores being done. For instance, I vacuumed today. I also cooked. I also am going to bed now because I just noticed the time!

Got drunk on sake at a sushi restaurant that used to be the best one in town but seems to have really gone to shit in the past six months. A giant parking garage has just been constructed opposite it where there used to be a field. On a Tuesday night at 8pm there was a 45 minute wait. The spinach and sesame salad was good, but the fish wasn't fresh and the avocado in WolFish's maki had brown spots. The seaweed was soft and the rolls were falling apart. I don't know if they lost their chef or what; they said they were short-handed tonight. It was crazy busy and they seem to be expanding into the area next door, which was still under construction, but we probably won't be going back.

Got up, got kids ready to go to school. Rode with my youngest half way to school on my bike and back home. (This cow wants her general fitness back to decent). Bummed around, procrastinated, while reading about wool and fleeces. Spun a bit, got the washing machine filled and working. Folded the washing I did yesterday. Had coffee and tea during intervals.

Now waiting for a girl to come home, and ask her if she would like me to make an appointment at the hairdresser.
