The usual daily stuff I did today but I also, due to the nice weather here, took out my bike and cycled for a bit. Halfway the ride I took a break, ordered a coffee in a restaurant and settled myself on a bench outside. In the sun.. and I started reading in the book I really like. Did so for almost half an hour and I'm now 1/3 away from the end of the book.

Made dinner after I got home, made the kitchen tidy again and wheeled out the garbage bin and put it on the curb. Am now listening to the radio and playing a game of Mahjong. Just made a really stupid mistake which made it impossible for me to clear the board completely.

.. hey..

I hope to have traced where some of my money went. Apparently it has gone elsewhere according to an agreement with me. Oooohh? I did not know. If all is right, it did indeed go to where I would transfer it to, but I do not like this happening without my agreement.

And I got up of course, had some tea, posted here, and I have got my washing machine doing the hard job of dark laundry.
Soon I will be hanging it outside to dry.

Took PA to the early hours doctor's clinic
Took the Princess Royal to the dentist
Took PA for a chest X-Ray
Took the Princess Royal to a friend's house

Still to do:
Pick up PA's meds
Go to bowling with the Princess Royal

He has Atrial Fibrillation (Irregular heartbeat) which can lead to more serious things.

Lately he's been having trouble breathing when he sleeps, so he hasn't been sleeping much.  It may be bronchitis.  He's on 4 meds for this go round.  We go back to the doctor in 10 days.  They took an X-ray and some blood work.  While I'm a little concerned I'm saving the big fears for when they're needed.

If he's sleeping flat, have him try to sleep propped up...or the recliner. Helps the breathing, slows the skipping.

Hope they are checking iron levels, bug them if they didn't...if he's anemic from the last surgery, that can sometimes cause the a-fib.

No recliner.  Sleeping with several pillows (even using a gradient) never seems to work.  He and I are side sleepers, so it's hard to elevate one's self.

None of his surgeries (ankles and eyes) required transfusions, so anemia is unlikely. If he's anemic he won't be for long.  I'm making him take the vitamins I bought for the PR that she wouldn't take.

I think it's just normal ageing, something we're going to have to get used to.

They normally don't give transfusions until you really bottom out. That's the way it was with the kid even. He had 3.

They kept doing just a CBC on me, and I passed, low...but still in normal range. Never checked the iron levels, when they did it was almost a year later. Slept upright for over a year, when my iron levels finally got back up, the skipping finally stopped.

I overslept. My daughter, of all persons, knocked on the door and asked if I planned on sleeping the whole morning.

:laundry: tried to steam clean the sectional a bit more.

...my male cat hates the steam cleaner, he'll stand on the damp cushions right in my way and bitch until I turn it off.

I worked really late. Or early, considering. And this morning, I made coffee, showered, and logged on here.

I really need to stop working in the middle of the night.

I did more than enough yesterday to make up for the fact I have done almost nothing yet today
