Went to get chicken.

Standing in line...Mr. good looking, blue-eyed 30 something with the new pickup truck is winking at me. Thinking about the cranky, irritable, sick, SO, that is stressing me out to the max :GA: , and the angry, augmentative teenager at home. :facepalm2:

...and I wonder...if I ran away, how far could I get...is this guy is another Ted Bundy....and do I even care right now?

Then I think...but who will feed the cats?  :apondering: So I pick up my bag of chicken, and climb back in my pickup, and go home and hold a cat.

It's all about the cats anymore some days.  :yawn:

I woke up, finding not one, but two cats under my blankets.

We have been warmish and melty against the huge piles of snow for a few days.  Fucking cold now seventeen degrees Fahrenheit, FFS.
I have been worried about how my ginormous deck speaker system has fared during this horror of winter weather.

After trudging out there and assessing my efforts to keep them covered properly against the weather, I am pleased. Two layers of tarp and twenty or so bricks holding the tarps down has worked.

No wet, no harm.

Went and paid off my account at my supply house
Began taking apart a broken foam machine to see what can be salvaged
Organized and cleaned in the shed and basement as I tried to get stuff from my fathers condo put away

  I did a load of   :laundry:   and sorted socks, rolling matched socks into pairs, placing odd socks into a separate
  drawer, and consigning holey socks to the rag bag to be used for cleaning projects.  Also, I listened to this awesomeness:

Got kid on her way to school, went to work, worked, worked, worked.
In between had coffee, lunch and coffee, and had a good talk with a colleague. Interesting, and good.
