Well, Burt Bacharach 'turned' 85 today. Not really a fan of his music in general (quite a few songs of his , the melodies chosen, go over the invisible line called 'duh.. that's totally obvious and thereby lame or boring, imo.. but but.. I love, par example, the song composted by him.. 'Do you know the way to San Jose?'

I started loving this song whilst listening to 'welcome to the pleasure dome' by Frankie goes to Istanbul.. when I was 15 y/o, I guess. A cover of the song was on it and..  Blah, jah.. but here's the version Dionne Warwick sang some day.. early in the year 1968, I.. well, whateverz..
