It was a toss up between this, pretty girls make graves, girl afraid and rusholme ruffians

Yes, always loved the cure.  Not so much their 'charty' stuff
although i always admired 'Inbetween Days'  and  'Boys Don't
Cry' is a bit of a sentimental one for me :pinkbeat:

Some of the stuff off their older albums are the dogs bollox!

this is just for my bleeding heart then  (when it was a healthy
pinky/red colour and not the shrivelled black organ that farts
occasionally to keep the blood flowing that i am left with) :violin:

Well, I dunno what dogs bollox means, but I love their early stuff :P I guess that also depends on what you mean by early. They recorded a demo in 77 and just came out with an album a few years ago.

This is "early" cure, and I admit it's almost punk, not post-punk



but Pornography was 82, and it was quite different. That's what I like best, early 80s cure. HOT HOT HOT kind of annoyed me actually, and if it wasnt for Just Like Heaven I wouldn't have liked the early 90s for them that much. But Bloodflowers was fucking brilliant and that was in 2000.... sooo... I forget the point.

not many things really blew my skirt up,  after that.

but his voice is fucking awesome and distinctive and brilliant.

i forget sometimes i am talking to people thousands of miles away.
which is cool in itself.  :LOL:

Quite a few cool bands were 'born' in the late seventies.
