Smoking my pipe, posting. Then going to have something to eat/drink, before I go to bed.

Got to go register at the local library later, need to make sure I have the time; as I've read all my books. Its a pain sometimes, having such a bloody quick reading speed, as it means any new reading material I get, will be gone in hours.

^I remember having to do that with our cats. It is much easier when the cat is short-haired.

Long haired cats are much more of a bugger to take care of.

I really miss my cat, padfoot a shorthair, very friendly and affectionate; he used, whenever I would come down early in the morning to feed us both, to come up purring and pestering for fuss and attention; and just would not take 'no' for an answer. As far as padfoot was concerned he was exercising his divine right to a morning back scratch.

He was as good as murdered by a hit and run driver. I was told of this later, after he had gone missing for a couple of days, so I never even got to spend a last few precious minutes with him. Fucking whore-son piece of sewage driver failed to stop, and see if he could be helped, or assess the extent of his injuries...christ he could have at least rang the number on the ID tag he wore from his collar to let us know..

Who knows. Padfoot's injuries may not have been fatal in and of themselves. Apparently he managed drag himself into a nearby garden, where he ended up being torn to pieces by a fox.

My home has been empty of animal companions since not long after paddy's loss. I had wild-caught a gravid female false widow spider, who had laid two egg sacks, of which one had already hatched into 100 or more odd 'slings, tiny, harmless babies. And the other egg sack was well on its way to hatching.

Fucking police, stormed the house with 15-20 odd filth stormtroopers. Ostensibly looking for a weed grow (of which there was none, nor was there even so much as a bong mix in the house. Some pig, making sure It was out of everybody else's earshot, thinking it funny to tell me, when sure I had no proof, admitted it was nothing more than a fishing expedition [which are blatantly illegal], to see if they could catch me in the act of doing anything they didn't like)

When I got back from the pig shop eventually, I found out they had  gone and killed ALL my spiders.

Place just isn't the same without animals here to share it with. I have a couple of large empty fish tanks though which would be just perfect for keeping invertebrate pets.

I've been wanting a scorpion for quite some time. One of the fascinating, and most unusual genus Parabuthus I think. Whilst I'd unlikely to witness it, as its a threat display, used when the creatures  get aggravated, several within this family have the ability, unique amongst scorpions of being capable of spraying a jet of venom from the sting tip, in a similar manner to the famed spitting cobras or the mangshan pit viper (Trimeresurus mangshanensis), although being arachnids with compound eyes they do not possess the capability for the deadly accurate fire that snakes can dish out.

What am I doing now....

I SHOULD have been going to bed....but no. I ended up getting myself a marmalade sandwich, on seedy brown bread, and oops...I just HAD to look something at wikipedia didn't I.

Being the speshul short bus spazz that I am, that quick read turned into almost 35 open browser tabs. I'm one of those auties who has an insatiable appetite for knowledge...lol; once I start reading, nothing short of an airstrike coming down on the house would tear me away.

Munching, smoking my pipe, chilled out, thanks to my meds, and reading some interesting articles on nuclear fusion technology. I MIGHT go to sleep after...IF I can tear myself out of hyperfocus  :autism:

I'm having a coffee, listening to some music, reading my newspaper and smoking a self-rolled fag.

But, now you could think of all kind of things it could have meant, including a very kinky circus-act.
