Watching tv as well. Jamie Oliver's 15 Minute Meals is on again. I would rather eat what he has cooked than what I had. What I had had mushrooms all through it and I picked them out.

Thinking that I found out how the mice are getting into my house. Now I need to cover their entry way, put down some peppermint oil both inside and outside to further deter them, and then get traps to catch the ones who are already in.

I've got mice in the garden that are eating the worms in a couple of my compost bins.  I have a third compost bin that I made out of a galvanised steel coal bunker that's so far proven mouse-proof, so I've ordered another one and I'm going to move the contents of the other compost bins into it.

It's getting colder, and the mice are looking for warmth, a house and a compost-bin are ideal. Often there is food to be found easily too. Anything your pinky finger can get through, expect mice to come through there too.
