 ^ They look good in their cases.  I used to have a piece of sea glass.

whats sea glass? I picked up this rock from the beach, here in northern california. it was naturally tumbled oval by the waves

 ^ Nice stone!  Sea glass is pretty much the same thing, a piece of glass worn smooth
 by the ocean.  It was green and roughly triangular, I haven't seen it in years.

Oh I see. do you like jade? they sound like glass when you clink them together, 
I found these in a antique shop here

 ^ Those are pretty, are they heavy?  Might they chip if clinked together?

not too heavy. jade is a very tough gemstone, wich enables the user to carve it quite intraquitely. its actually more break resistant than a diamond so I'm not worried about it chipping

I got some smooth rocks from the beach in California, but they were all brown or black.

I have lots of sea glass. It's my favourite thing to look for when I'm beachcombing.

Currently cooking lemon and herb halibut for dinner. Had plans to make homemade minestrone in the crockpot but forgot to do it before I left for the day.

Thank you. yeah, rocks at the beach are almost always cool. I remember seeing signs around san diego's beaches saying, "dont pick anything up!" and of course I wanted too. but didnt because i think they can write you a ticket.
