Picking out a movie to watch with Monkeygirl. Our new evening routine is now rom-com's so I've been introducing her to the classics. Dirty Dancing, Steel Magnolias and Notting Hill so far. Tonight it's My Best Friend's Wedding. It's exactly what we need. To put our brain in a box for a few hours and just enjoy. We also may rip on the super cheesy parts and which makes it twice as hilarious.

Girding my mental and emotional "loins" for work today.  Last night I was contacted and asked if I could work from 1 pm to 11 pm.  I replied, "1-10, yes! 1-11, Hell no."  Yes, I am blunt at work.  Anywho, it seems like it's going to be chaos that I'll be stepping into.  I'll assume my normal zen go with the flow, do my part of the job and leave at 11 pm.  Bad planning on mgmt's part does mean an emergency on my part.
