I was a little sad today... I found out one of the first residents I helped take care of at the care home had passed away.

Anytime I came into his room to deliver his laundry to him, I always enjoyed looking at his old photos on the wall. Especially the one with him and his wife back in the days when they were younger.

Even though he didn't speak as much to me, his expressions always told a story... a story of a man who witnessed so much in history and now had passed on to the other side.

Even though I'm a laundry attendant, I'm still putting my caregiving skills in for good use. These people usually have nobody, and all that does is makes me sad.

I downgraded our cable service a while back to a more manageable price point. No more TV from the cable company, just internet connection.
We went with another "demon spawn" for those programs and still we have too many subscription services we stream.

But now, the internet connection insists I log in every day or buy some new service they offer ($10 bucks per month) that does that for me, automatically. Mother Fuckers!!

I say, "grow" a thick enough skin (harden yourself to what ever level it takes to further seek needs still unmet) where, even if they ARE making fun of you, you can smile in their face once you're clued and just move on.

Trust me, there are women out there (watching you) who are just as curious about you as you are about them, and many are ready to mate up.

Only problem today was with my son's Linux machine.
