Whether I should give up my CPA certificate.  I'll never use it again, but if (and it's a big if) I ever need it for a resume, then it's there.

  It must be hard to think about giving up any title or qualification that you had to work hard to earn. 
   My mother took courses to keep her RN status for many years after she stopped working.  :apondering:

I like to grill my bacon. It helps drive off a lot of the excess fat.

Although I'll fry it sometimes, when I have fried bacon, its almost exclusively to go with whatever I found on one of my mushroom hunting forays.

Too late in the season now...but that made me think that I could absolutely murder a big plate of fried parasol mushrooms (Macrolepiota procera...just about one of the top very few most delectable wild mushrooms to be had of any I have ever tried...and since I've been foraging for mushrooms since I was about 5-6 yo, I've tried a fair few different kinds to say the least. ) and fried bacon

I don't like crispy bacon.  I enjoy chewing the fat.  I'm going to try a new recipe for making pseudo bacon.  Fry Provolone cheese slices (preferably smoked) in a frying pan on a low heat until brown.  Turn over and cook the other side until brown.

I always use a pair of scissors to cut it off after I've cooked it. The fat is just hanging.
