Maybe it could help.

I fell and twisted my knee a few days ago.  I went to the doctor just to make sure I didn't injure it badly and he checked it out and ordered X-rays.  Nothing was broken.  I have been taking two OTC naproxyn 220mg tablets twice a day and using cold packs as advised by the doctor and it's doing much better.

Ibuprofen took the worst away for a while when I finally took it in the evening. I was on a road trip when I wrote the above, though, and didn't bring any with me.
