I called Marjorie Taylor Greene out on Twitter... knowing that she is a public official, she will probably not block me (or will she?)

My constant battle with fighting SADS during the approaching winter is not hitting me as hard this year.
I have been busy with family, then I have kept myself busy on my own with just my fun stuff.

Crossing my fingers.

Oh, and I have lit a fire almost every night. No reason, just that I have an outdoor fire to enjoy, often.

This whole SADS thing might be attributed to my neglecting my heritage. I know to make a fire. Why would I not?

^ The heater was off when I arrived this morning and nobody mentioned it, so  I think.
Not so much about the warmth but wasting the tightwad bosses' electricity.

Cool. Someone has your back.

I saw an interesting thing to do on Facebook in response to an incoming storm and possible power cuts. They said to go to Wal-Mart (but over here in Australia it would most likely be Bunnings) and buy a few outdoor solar lights. Leave them outside during the day to "charge" and on a stormy night bring them in and there you have light inside your house. No fussing with candles and torches (flashlights).

I knew I was affected by the winter, but I didn't realize how much until I moved away from the winter.  :dunno:

Yoshi keeps talking to me
Is Yoshi a very vocal cat? Rowan sometimes gets going at night time when he doesn't want to use his litter tray and would prefer to go outside. He goes about the house meowing loudly. He also has some funny sounding meows when he wants to play.

He's very vocal since his surgery. Now he's out of the cone, and is very happy.

Secure jobs are a blessing and a curse. The latter happens when they want you to stay indefinitely and think they own you.

I'm an independent contractor and I'm very lucky in that my services are sought after. I'm an expert in a suitably esoteric yet central set of standards. In practical terms it means that I can tell a client to fuck off, these days, if they are being stupid enough. Also in practical terms, I mostly never do because I like my job and I do sympathise with their plight.

You have not been home enough to even break in your new (months old) subwoofer lately.

I have had to "fire" clients before. I then go back to the basic reasons for doing business together if they want continued service.  Policies first, then we try again.

On the contrary, I work from home and my subwoofer is used daily.

It's fickin' awesome. The musicality alone, it's amazing. The size of my system is just perfect. The speakers are quite small, as is the sub, and the system is not in any way out of the ordinary.

But together, they bring a balance almost unheard of.

It's all fed from a laptop, but via a hi-def player and DAC, so nothing passes through the laptop's rubbish sound card, and again the setup is beyond belief. The balance is very, very precise, which is practically unheard of when producing sounds from a laptop. It's all stunningly good.

It's almost like an analogue system. For a daily driver, it's amazing.

Need I elaborate on how good I think my system is? :)

Why not?

And what, exactly?
