Actually, no. A misreading of your post. I thought you said "I need to do more than just hide," not "I need more to do than just hide."

So it wasn't meant as an insult about what you're doing, even if it sounded that way. It was meant to be encouragement.

Have never seriously considered suicide. Sometimes feel like an oddity in that.

I get self-destructive in other ways.

... and that too, but having people almost line up to help me be even more self destructive tends to take me in the other direction, making me look elsewhere for what ever is missing.

Hope the same happens for those of us still alive.

I have had the same thoughts of self destruction go thru my head at times.  But, the thought that some "people" would enjoy that, makes my contrary nature say "NO".
