So I heard from a friend that walmart was going to close on Thanksgiving.  My response, "I'll believe it when I see it!"  It is the big set up day for black friday!   Carla, goes onto the walmart website and sees that it is true.  And I am wondering why the change, then it dawns on me.........Black Friday during a pandemic is NOT gonna happen.  Or it will be drastically altered.  In reality, with online buying growing exponentially, black friday is a Dinosaur.   And with a pandemic thrown into the mix.........Buh Bye,  The Walton clan is NOT being sentimental or charitable, it's just that the new reality has crashed their bubble.  😄

I have two big hessian sacks full of cans. Too many to fit in the car to take to the R&E machines, but even then the R&E machine is time consuming, and my time is better spent these days with paint brush in hand.

This country is a joke, the leader in the oval office a complete dunce... the use of essential workers is one thing, yet the belittling of them is another... (I got huffy at one of my co-workers yesterday all because it looked from my point of view that they were blocking me from wanting to go to the actual line instead of self-checkout to pay for my groceries)... I usually like going to the register lines because I prefer to talk to some new co-workers or work friends while I am getting my stuff put away, and paid for.

The way Co-worker "A" tried blocking me out saying "Register Closed go to Self-checkout" was pathetic to me... I get why people make fun of Walmart for having only 2 registers open, and why the rest of the registers tend to be "SOL" in operations... but please, the overlords in the Region office, even the HQ in Arkansas.... please get funding to repair the systems a bit better, to make sure Maintenance has their needed supplies... it's pathetic that we're always low on needed necessities.... I get because of COVID-19 being a complete hardass and all... but do we really need to be that low on needed supplies all the time?

Most of the moronic old idiots seem to have gotten out of the way, except in politics. Those still pulling political strings are mostly old enough to be surviving thalidomide babies. It's not like every one of the affected came out with three arms and teeth where there should not be teeth. They did not all die either.
I think they are running the government.

As for most of the younger idiots running things, I am going to blame sunspots.
