I just  thought that  Zoom would provide a half-way -decent compromise between
 
  • those who would really  like to meet up IRL, but can't (because we're not only spread out out all over the globe, but also can't agree upon times, dates and locations, even insofar as some are clumped fairly cllose together. Oh! and now covid too )
  • those who miss chatnights. Its ideal , IMO, for folk who'd rather text (which is most of us, I guess)  cos you can always switch off the webcam/mic and  use the textbox instead. You can even switch entirely to textbox view if you find it tiring to look at all the faces.

However, I shall no doubt get the message and cease coming up with bright ideas before long  :LOL:
meeting each other any which way in realtime  might well prove exhausting , i know, i know.

That a life of petty crime may be in my future.  Stole items left at 2 thrift stores.  Rain was forecast and I knew they would just pitch the items if wet. They've been closed for the Covid19.  Picked out mArkings type vacuum, wall hangings, perfect potted plant (fake), some cheap kitchen knives, about 50 DVDs (keeping about 20), plastic containers, coffee maker, smoothie maker, some books, etc.  When I finish hold thE thought major lightening neaf

How would that even work. England is 5 hours ahead of Toronto, Sweden is 6 hours, Australia is 14 hours and Pyraxis is 3 hours behind my time zone.
