I have a Samsung fridge. It's doing well after 10 years, just a bit noisy.

As for washing machines, Fisher & Paykel is good, on to my second one of those. The first lasted 17 years. I think.

My washing machine still works, it's just that the lint filter broke and it's only a 5kg drum. I'm sick of everything coming out covered in fluff and cat hair.

I said the above line about not wanting to move until I die, to my new neighbour (he's 80) and he said I need to meet the woman down the street. Her family wants her to sell her property as she's 93 but she's perfectly capable of getting by on her own and people in the neighbourhood help her out (she's blind now). She said the next move she'll make is next door. She lives next to the cemetery. I like her already. :laugh:

Thinking about what to get when I'll visit the butcher's this afternoon.

Yeah, the new(-ish) mall has a new butcher shop AND it's also open on Sundays. Pretty brilliant, imo.

Nursing home? bugger that. They'll find me waiting for a hole in the dirt first. Like fuck to I want to rot in the grim reaper's piss-smelling, psychot-inhabited waiting room. If I'm going out, might as well do it on my feet, not on my knees. The thought gives me the creeps more than the likes of getting meatpasted by a car. At least, as long as the driver is drunk enough to finish me off the first time.

I still have frozen leftovers and partial meals that Wolf cooked, that I rescued from our apartment freezer and moved to the shared house. It feels like he's still taking care of me.
