Thinking silence is highly suspicious when you have a puppy, too.

Fun with matches-in wiccan circles, coven members believe (for the most part) that such a direct attempt to force the will of another, the stereotypical 'love potion/love spell' type stuff is unethical, and violates the threefold law. At least, if it is directed at a specific individual. Acting in an attempt to draw the perfect person, without directing it a specific individual, a general 'call to ''mr/miss right' is usually viewed as another matter entirely. But if it did work, would you really be happy with yourself, knowing that you forced yourself on somebody you love or care for? I wouldn't. Even if I could wave a magic wand and both find my ex fiancee and bind her to me, I wouldn't do it. Track her down, sure, but I wouldn't lift a finger to bend her free will by any other means than my words and conduct towards her. I'd give almost anything I own or am to have her back, but precisely because I still love her as much as the day, first week we met and knew each other, that same day she threw me into a tree at the point of a paintball gun and stuck her tongue down my throat..even after more than 20 years, I wouldn't even consider doing anything that would or could force her hand. Because she is her own person, with the right to do what she damn well wants. (not afraid to use it either:)....fuck me, what a girl. I really would watch the world burn to be back by her side. haven't seen her since she was 14. But given the chance, If  I could change things timewise, I'd have spent the rest of my life with her.

But to take from her that element of choice? shit no. In fact I'd kill somebody for trying. Why? precisely because that is what makes her, her, and what guides her hand in the path she chooses in life. To attempt to forcibly change that, it would be an abomination.

Ah, OK. Are you willing to be surprised? Matches can be very different from who/what you thought up yourself to be a good match.

I like analysing things and knowing the why behind it. To other people it's ranting, for me it's fascinating, depending on the subject of course.

But yeh, I feel invisible IRL, I guess because most people don't think like me. It's general, not very deep. On OKCupid I had lots of guys message me, some cute. But I would ask a great question (relating to their interests) and then I would get a mediocre answer, immediately followed by, "How are you?" and it put me off.

But yeh, in a sense I'm scared of meeting my/a match. For instance, I hate unreliability. I've purposely backed from crushes before who were unreliable. It hurts and feels wrong to the heart, but what if my match was that? I would end it. Life is not worth so much uncertainty and heartache.

Wanting somebody who is within reasonable expectations, reliable is perfectly natural. People who aren't, generally don't give enough of a damn, and that makes somebody not worth dating in the first place. Unless of course there is some E.g medical or other genuine reason why they often cannot make it, but even then they should make their best efforts to let you know when and what and why.

What am I thinking...just thinking what a pain to have to convert the .mov quicktime format of the videos my camera will take into first .AVI then into something reasonable and not that belongs in the fucking stone age, like say, .MP4. AVI and .MOV are massive in terms of file size. Just took a video for my science corner a little over 3 minutes long and in .mov the fucking thing was just over 36.5 megabytes in size! for 3 minutes or so! wish I had the option on the camera both to choose file output type for videos and pics (although for pics .jpeg isn't problematic) and also, I'd really like  a camera that had a setting not to generate any metadata, no eXif tags and geolocation tags because I then have to strip the finished videos of metadata, convert format, strip it again, convert it finally to a proper format then strip it again before I upload the thing to a host and link it here.

I wish I had the day off.
I wish I didn't- at least not the kind I have (home sick).
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

That's an entirely different matter and not nearly as enjoyable. Besides, even if I was able to be home all day, no clients, no calls, it's never a true day off with kids and dogs underfoot. :P

Hope you feel better soon

The most important thing for you is to be able to live with you. Think that that is really important in any relationship, that you get along with yourself.
A relationship can add to your happiness, but a partner is not the one to expect happiness from. Nor should you be the one making your partner happy.

Sure, a connection, reliability, trust and attraction are important. It might still be that some thoughts are better to share with a friend than your partner. There is no total match.
And part of the match will grow while being in a relationship.
