Really happy they pulled the Obamacare repeal bill.

Me too. Relieved a little also.

SO is part of the 24 million that would have lucked out and lost coverage or may not been able to afford any for possibly the next 4 yrs...and right now that could be a really bad thing.

Happy for your SO and family.  I can't imagine being without health insurance for 4 years, WTF!  :(

Yeah some of my friends are in that position too.

Thinking about my friend who had pain in her back last week. They thought she had pleurisy, then after tests, a pulmonary embolism, then also appendix or gall bladder trouble, now, after a CT scan, there is fluid around her heart. She is way over the top obese so I am wondering if that and her inactivity has been one of the causes of these problems. :(

Whatever is going on with her, I hope it is fixable.

Thank you, cbc. She had an ultrasound on her legs today (to look for clots I think) and she is having a lung test right now, I think. She had to go to another hospital for that. I am waiting for her to text me.

My back and side yards are loaded with cherry and peach blossoms. They all opened up over about three days of constant rain and super spring-like temperatures. WOW!!

Smells are fabulous!

I mislaid your address.  Will you give it to me again?

*inhales and dreams...

I definitely need a cherry tree...I think I'm making that a goal for this year.

The sooner you plant, the better chance you will have of blooms next spring. I can recommend cherry trees for their blossoms, but if you have the wherewithal  to grow a real producing tree, you will have cherries for many years to come.

Last year I planted plum trees and they have yet to show themselves, even though they seem healthy in the fall. I fear that my plum trees (just four)  did not get a satisfactory winter rest period.
