Randomly looking downwards as I cross the space from house to shed, noticing that there is now several streaks of  black circular carbonized charred spaces radiating out from a central point and crossing the garden, from when my alembic failed, presumably not borosilicate glass after all, and resulted in streaks of white phosphorus splattering over the lawn. Really did a number on it, burnt its way halfway to china before stopping.

 That or one paticular incident involving a REALLY concentrated sulfuric acid volcano (the marks are still there even years later)
