It's my daughter's birthday. We got up early, before she heads to work.

I was feeling disheartened about the mouse in my apartment,
but this great song straightened out my head.
Mice cannot soulfully strut, they can only scurry.
I dominate that mouse's landscape like a friggin' Indominus Rex!  8)

The Indominus Rex would scarcely take notice of something so tiny and insignificant.  :M :P

It was my cat's pet. He brought it to my mum as a token of gratitude.

My mum didn't appreciate the gesture. She screamed bloody murder and the cat was back out as quickly as he had arrived.

The mouse was left behind, though.. ;D

Cats are passive-aggressive.  My former landlady's cat dropped a dead shrew in her cereal bowl.  :zoinks:

The cat of a former neighbour had the habit of bringing me live mice. Pebbles really liked me. She'd offer them to me, I'd tell her she could eat them. She'd make the final death bite and would enjoy her meal. She'd never bring her own human mice. She would not bring cuddles to her own human either. I never fed her, there was always water for her though. She would come and sit with me at 6 am, while I had breakfast every morning.

Miss that cat. She was awesome.

My first cat brought me a live baby bunny.

Let it in one morning at around 7:30 am half asleep, glanced at it, didn't really comprehend what it had in it's mouth until it dropped it in the kitchen.

Bunny went ballistic, cat went nuts chasing it though the house, kid is screaming bloody murder, I'm standing there in a WTF just happened...I need coffee coma.

Caught cat and shut it in the bathroom and had to move the stove to get the terrified rabbit out from behind it.

After that there was always a mouth check before the cat came through the door.

The cat was older...it decided to live at my house a month after I moved in. There was this woman around my age that I always talked to at work when she came in about a year before, didn't really know who she was, but later found out I knew her brother...we just hit it off and would talk forever, she was great to talk to.  She just stopped coming around one day, later I found out she had a long struggle with depression and committed suicide. Her brother lived not too far away and saw the cat one day and just stared, said it was her cat...he said it just kind of disappeared a few months after she died, he thought it didn't like his dogs and just ran off or died.

It just walked in the door one day, sat down, and refused to leave.
