Pretty depressed today. I have always been a loner. It's better that way. But I really wish I had someone. A friend. A companion. Someone I could just "be" with and not have any pressure to be more. Mutual respect and having each other's backs for support, etc.

Thinking I want to stick the gas mask on theres a horrid sulfur stench coming from the accidental thermal decomposition of something sulfurous itself, although not terrible smelling. This....this abysmal monstrosity is getting to me from rooms away.

Thanks...I know. I am rarely actually depressed though. Just one of those days. Usually I am just worn out and exhausted emotionally and mentally. My birthday just reminds me of my Mum being gone and then all of the horrible shite from being married (other than my minions, of course).

I am fucked. Been noticing a moldy smell and turns out the condensation pump to my basement AC unit isn't working. Water has been collecting behind and around that corner of the basement opposite my bed (couch) and soaked up unto at least two sets of shelves with parts of my STAR WARS collection and the old entertainment center with my old Commodore 128 computer and other stuff stacked on it. Plus, my acoustic guitar was on the floor next to that and the case was coated paper and was soaked and when I opened it the entire inside is covered in thick mold, including the guitar. Still haven't dug out the second shelf or the entertainment center to see if more spread. The side wall has my vintage toys so I am really hoping it is localized to the two sets of shelves over there. Some of that stuff was really old and irreplaceable. Ugh!

what a mess!  Hope things can be cleaned and salvaged.  I think mold and mildew are a natural part of New Orleans.
