Perhaps some are still scarred by the recent holidays.

I am scarred. :(

I was abused by holiday shoppers.
Ganged up on by disabled vets dressed in santa suits ringing bells seeking donations.
...and someone sent me calamari in tomato sauce to try instead of cookies this year.

Feel my pain.

Was the calamari good? :squiddy:

I managed to choke down a small piece of the non-tentacle section after prepping myself with a glass of wine. The sauce in itself was excellent...the guy who made it is Italian and an excellent cook.

But no.

Just no...not going there ever again.

Wut??  Calamari is like meat onion rings. I LOVE calamari!!

Calamari doesn't have to be fried. :calandale:

There's a successful urban myth about pig rectum and calamari.

Myth? :o I buy calamari specifically for the pig rectum. :autism:
I2 has a smiley for everything. Even a hamster wheel. :hamsterwheel:

It is kind of cold here.

Looking at my deck mounted thermometer, it is eight degrees Fahrenheit, but the pisser is that my Escalade is completely frozen over, since I have not driven it in two days.

I am expected at work in three hours and I can not get into my car.

I wrecked a car door once, because of car being frozen, and me having to get away with a pregnant neighbour.

When I got home, I got stuck to my front door handle, and lost some skin.   :hahaha:

One of the rare really cold winters in my country.

Now I find myself thinking of my dad. In winters he had a radiation heater in the car, with extension cord. About an hour before he had to leave, he'd turn the heating on. He always had a defrosted car.

Maybe, but the latest horror I have to deal with is that I stepped on my glasses and broke the fuck out of them.

Actually, by noon, I had new glasses with a new, updated prescription. (I had to spend a bit of extra money to get it done NOW!)

Interestingly, My prescription had not changed much at all, though. Eye doc said it was quite unusual for a guy, fifty nine years old, to have that kind of stability in his eyesight. My old prescription was two and a half years old.
She was able to correct my vision back to twenty:ten which is my normal vision after correcting for my astigmatism. The kicker was that my "up close vision/need for bifocals reading small stuff" had not changed either.

Anyway, I feel like a salty pig in warm muddy shit. Everything is beautiful!
