This guy is very good at Latin and Greek, but he should say "nai" in another tone, since it means "yes" in Greek. He says it like you say "no" in English etc.

In the Mummy and the Mummy Returns, "naaaaaaaaaai" in ancient egyptian means "noooooooooooo!"

Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

MDF baseboard trim "wood" moulding molding. What crap.

Neighbors had laminate put down around Feb. and they used this for the trim. Hot water tank gave way in June (I helped them clean up the water), none of us knew about the trim.

Shit sucks up water like a sponge. Called me over yesterday because they though they were seeing things...nope...the trim is growing fuzz, covered with mold on the back.

Wondered why my asthma had been acting up every time I went over, their house is spotless and they don't have pets. :zombiefuck:

they may have a battle on their hands with the insurance company for replacement.  Most policies won't cover mold and mildew.  IMO the insurance company should at least pay to replace the baseboard since that should have been replaced anyway.

Finally caught the creature on camera. Grote glazenmaker, we call them. Biggest dragonfly (up to 80mm) in this neck of the woods. Fascinating insects, I find them.

In the South they're also called Mosquito Hawks or Mosquito Hogs.  Guess what they love to eat?  That and hummingbirds are my favorite daytime fliers.  Butterflies are a close third.

Mosquito hawk? Yeah, that's quite spot on, I'd say. Hog less so though, imo. They, however, eat quite a range of insects though.

Their flying ability is awesome. Impressive. Some peopsies are afraid of them.. but that's not necessary. They do not sting and might only bite when someone tried to catch them by hand, maybe.

In prehistoric days, they lived alongside the dinosaurs/that time, these insects grew really big. Almost the exact same shape they had but quite a bit bigger.

Ah.. Sir D. Attenborough on the subject..
