Changes, blessings, and sorrows all seem to bunch together, crashing in waves, altering the landscape.  The wave recedes and there is calm for some time, but you know that the next wave is inevitable...

My brother called and said that a house was put on fire and four people were hurt in the thunderstorm, just 7 kilometers from here.

It actually means "troll" in Swedish too. "Hätta" probably means "hill" in this case. It usually means "hat".  :)
