I was sitting at a table in the bookstore. Then suddenly I find my self kneeling on the floor, still at the table. How did I get out of my chair? I have no idea.  :dunno:

Did you pass out for a second? Has this ever happened before?  :orly:

No, fully conscious, but somehow kneeling. I got back into the chair, and later found myself standing again. I guess the chairs weren't so comfortable so I kept standing up, but I was using the internet so I didn't notice.
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

So you hyperfocus to the point of blanking out anything else you are doing?  :orly:

That must be why I am generally confuddled.

A big truck took the curve getting onto I 95 too fast today and rolled over on the embankment something I have not seen in awhile
carnage?

Didn't look to be,  only saw the wheels sticking up and there was no ambulance.
Today I saw one that hit a bridge near Home Depot but they hit that one all the time, it has just 11 foot one inch for clearance
that us a shocking way to stop a truck.  Believe me, I know.
Misunderstood.

I just googled the name of an old friend of mine and looked at a photograph of him and his wife. Last year they were married and he and his Spanish(?) sweetheart look very happy on the picture. Good for you Kjell.

Man, my old friends look so grown up (mature, not to say old.. though, some are even bold :løl:) whilst I.. ja, could almost pass for somebody half my age.

Well, I know you call PMSElle  "puella,"  and I saw her online, so I guessed the rest.  8)

This afternoon a magpie visited my garden and although I'm not a big fan of them (sneaky bastards they tend to be/also looting nests of smaller birds.. eating egg contend a/o already born youngsters) but but.. this bird had a sad karma about it. The poor fella missed a claw and, for starters, walked oddly and troublesome because of this. He had one claw and one stump thus.. and.. dunno..

I have seen (fat) pigeons in Amsterdam that had the same handicap but pigeons are more adapted to go about on flat surfaces. Magpies less so, I reckon. They tend to sleep in trees for instance (pigeons can rest on their bellies, on a flat surface, too) and I doubt this bird can.. holding on to a branch with one claw.

Well, blah.. bird survived at least p/m one year (incluis tough winter) so.. who knows..
