Should have been here early yesterday morning....

The very moment I reach for my trench, to make the arduous walk to my doctors surgery, it started absolutely pissing buckets. Glad my old man woke up and could give me a lift, I almost said 'fuck it' and didn't go. But the lack of my meds forced me to, I needed a new RX. And bugger going sleepless, adrenal rebound, no appetite and the like. And of course I need to be able to walk.

I've been stuck in bed for the past 4 days or so, almost completely, thanks to my fucking knee and hip.

If you're having trouble having electrical service restored after a storm, just sit on the porch in your nightgown.  Within 30 minutes the guys will be Johnny on the spot.

Actually, buying a house on a feeder line for the Sewer lift station, sherriff's sub-station and a nursing home means we get service VERY QUICKLY.  We got home at 11:30 a.m. when the crews were still arriving from out of state and had electricity by 8:10 p.m.  Note the crews can't work when the wind is +30 MPH, so we got on line pronto.
