Ahhh...Southern Connecticut!

I miss Groton and Gales Ferry. Mystic too.
Crazy, I'm halfway to crazy
Suicide would waste me
Homicide would break me
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Oh, is life as bad as dreams
I guess that's just the way it seems

Chores don't do themselves, but I wish they did.

Construction always seems to be an all or nothing type of job.  You are either sitting home with nothing to do or your never home

I went to the grocery store to buy a few things, and there were 2 young girls in line behind me with who I assume is their father. I would say the girls were probably 11 or so years old. They kept bumping into me, crowding me, slammed my cart. Tried to skip line.

I shot a nasty look at the dad and he said " kids" and chuckled.

Yeah. Kids. Just wait till she is 16 and you cant control her cause you think they are too cute to be disciplined now.

Most people should be sterilized.
He should at the very least told them to cut it out. If they wouldn't, then made sure they didn't get any treats. In a few years time they will probably be juvenile delinquents and he will wonder what he ever did to deserve it!

Most people seem to be back from their holidays, meaning that their cars are back, too. >:(

People are nice.  The Princess Royal had a seizure in Sams today.  A clerk stood asked if he could help and stayed with us until it was over.  He offered to get a wheelchair for her.  He and another clerk helped her into the wheelchair when she had stopped seizing.  After I checked out another shopper offered to wheel her to the car when she saw I was pushing the cart and pulling the wheelchair.  There are nice people in the world.

The deer near where I was working today are very tame,  I was able to get within a few feet of them when I walked around behind the house

Having your daughter watch your gynecological exam 4 years ago doesn't mean she'll remember much when she announces that Mom isn't welcome in the room, she's going to be independent.  You could hear her yelps down the hall.  I know it's cruel, but I couldn't help from laughing.  Don't worry, she's okay and there's no lasting trauma.  This is the doc who delivered her.  He said she did fine for a first exam.

First one freaks everyone out somewhat I think. Glad she got through it okay.  ;)
