There was 'holy shit' traffic around Costco today

No Costco here, but, all the stores were crammed, parking lots full as well.  took me 3 hours to do what I normally do in 1-2 hours.

I need to go to the shops before the 28th. I might manage it the day beforehand.

We recently got a Costco about half an hour from where we live. I haven't been to it because a membership costing $60 is required beforehand. I would also likely spend way too much money there.

Costco in my general area gave better pay and benefits than Walmart did.

Seeing that they're eerie similar, I refuse to work in a contraption that's close to the nightmare I went through with Walmart as a Janitor.

I always figured Costco and Sams were probably good for families who have the storage space to buy in bulk. I've never been to a Costco but years ago I went to a Sams club store with a family member, and didn't see a single thing I wanted. Buying bulk quantities of name brand items still isn't as frugal as buying generic labels.  :dunno:

My cousins in Kansas would of benefited from Costco/Sams Club... only the membership stuff is too "eh" for them.

My son works for Costco, now. A few months at Walmart was all he could take.

They just opened an easy to get in and out of Costco nearby, I've been considering a membership.

Possibly?

We had a Costco membership years ago I liked it but it tends to be a madhouse around the holidays. Have BJ's now and do big shopping there about every other week, it's not nearly as crowded

When I went to Aldi yesterday, it wasn't even busy. I got to the checkout with only one person ahead of me. It was a different story when I went past there today (Christmas Eve), the carpark was pretty full.

Gave my birds a new treat to try, and so far they haven't budged yet... it's still early, no worries.
