I miss the days when Louie barked at Skateboards... not the day that mailman pepper sprayed him

Man, McDonalds is really the worst place to pick up from (I work for Uber eats).  Last three times I got a mcdonalds order, I go to the store and they don't have it listed at all.  Not just don't have the order.  They never got it.  I should never accept another McDonalds order again.  They are useless!

It's going to be awhile before I find another job is it? Then again.... I'll wait until after the cancer scare is revealed before thinking of finding a different job that isn't retail.

Good luck on both subjects!

There may be a bird in our house.  :lol1: I let the dog out from the sunroom and when I came back in there was a bird bouncing against the windows. I went to grab a towel to try to catch it but when I got back I couldn't find it. It wasn't anywhere near the door and I was only gone for a minute, so I'm not convinced it found its way out.  :dunno:

That fire just up north tho! It's gaining in size at about 1000HA per hour, and that was before this wind started! :headhurts:

That would have freaked out my German grandmother. Something about having a bird get in the house was a bad sign and brings ill tidings with it.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

I don't think I've ever heard that superstition.  :orly: I looked it up and I guess in some cultures it means the opposite and it's good luck for them, or the meaning depends on the type or color of the bird. It was a carolina wren and I read wrens keep people from drowning. We haven't seen it since it happened, so I think it made it back out.  :dunno:

I got called an idiot by someone, I stated that I was an HFA, and laughed asking "Do you have anything more original than that?"
