GOP & Trump: "They haven't made a public statement WHY they searched Mar-a-Lago or shown any evidence...abuse of power...disband the FBI..."

Garland today: "Fine...let them see the search warrant."

GOP & Trump: No...wait.

I wonder if it was a special year for them or something. We have giant mutant grasshoppers here, they're yellow and green and get about four inches long. This year there were tons of them hanging out around the front of the house. They really freak me out! :GA:

Cleaning after other people can also ruin a person for cleaning after their self.  One of my first jobs out of school was residential house cleaning. I actually like house cleaning but there's no better way to ruin something enjoyable than to make it into a job.  :lol1: There's a thing in the news box about a person finding a job doing something they love and never working a day in their life, but I'm not sure that's often true.  :dunno:

MAGAites think that a raid that was given a legal warrant, and due process is illegal if the raid was done to their grand leader.

I don't understand the standard here....

The problem is that our Constitution includes very specific wording in the Fourth Amendment.
There must be some affirmation of very specific illegal items known to be within a property to even have a proper warrant issued by the Justice system.

Here is a quote from the Constitution we have all agreed to honor and live by:

Amendment IV

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

It is not so vague as some other Rights we enjoy.

In theory, according to the warrant to search, Trump was supposed to have left the White House with classified documents in his possession.

Trump is an ass, but not a stupid ass.  If he stole classified documents, who in their right mind would think he was comfortably sitting on stolen classified Presidential documents in his Florida sanctuary a year and a half later?

Use your brain.
This is different from how the media is portraying the thing.

Some think I'm a big Trump fan because I live a conservative life, but those short thinkers just do not know anything about me.
I am conservative, yes, but do not try to dump me in with the ignorance and foolishness the Republicans have shown recently.
I have voted Republican in the past, but not for any of this set of morons.
To be clear, I am not a Republican.

A big part of me thinks that yes, he really is that stupid. His responses and excuses give me little reason to doubt his ineptness.

We should all consider ourselves lucky. Imagine someone like Putin in his place.

Meh. People who can afford a nanny probably aren't raising their kids any less than people who need to use daycare.  :dunno:

I seen a menagerie of things this week; A 4 car pile up on Tuesday morning, a Mr Drifter in a Commodore who stacked it in the wet yesterday, and today I witnessed a security guard chase a thief when I was walking into the shops. They both almost barrelled me over on the stairs. I should have cocked me leg out and tripped the thief over for him.

Convenience stores seem to have become the new poor mans casino with people hanging around and buying scratch tickets and playing keno.  I get a ticket once in awhile but these people stand at the counter or sit at the little tables and stay there awhile

I've noticed that.  Sometimes when I get Carla a $1 scratch ticket for fun, there will occasionally be a customer buying a number of the high priced scratch tickets and taking up a lot of time with the clerk.  And I do mean a lot of time. ::)  I privately refer to them as "lottery clogs".  And a lot of them either are elderly or look like they are in need of money and yet, they are spending a lot to chase the get rich quick scheme.
