That girl who's jealous of me seemed awfully hung up on the fact I had a few of crush boi's chips that he brought back to the office at lunch. I mean, he offered to let me have some, lady. I guess she's trying to convince him that I'm a mooch or a parasite. She's been getting stroppy over the strangest shit. She's even jealous of the receptionist who works with us, who's like 60 and married.  She's pretty much jealous of all his friends male and female except for one she thinks is a lesbian but isn't.

I need to quit hesitating to drop by mom and pop garage sales.
Today I bought a B&D Workmate for ten bucks. It looks brand new, but they have not made them for twenty years. I forgot the back was nearly full of stuff.
I had the kids and the dogs with us, just returning from the park and the back was full of boxes of donations for Goodwill.
I managed. Gawd! I love my crossover SUV thingy!

Almost forgot to mention, while we were out, we drove past our old home.
It's gone!

The city has torn it down and hauled the remnants away, tore out my fabulous birdblind, cut down all my wonderful trees.

It's gone. We knew it was going to happen.
Eight others as well, which makes twelve of the nineteen homes destroyed for this city project. They had originally said sixteen homes, but they have upped it some as they complete plans.

I should take a pic of the pizza place that was a block away from us for all the time we were there. They have yet to tear that place down.
Owners went back and did a giant wall graffiti mural that said "Thanks everyone! Goodbye!" in a kind of psychedelic looking spray paint masterpiece.
We knew it was coming.

I needed a haircut today, so I waited until my Mom got home... after that I got cleaned up... now I have 9 minutes until I have my telehealth appointment with my therapist.

People keep asking me if I miss Walmart, when in all honesty... I don't.... I'm just purposefully cryptic so no one knows my actual true feelings on the matter.

So lying in bed, recovering from a hard night of work at the temple to the walton klan, and some guy in the neighborhood adjacent to us starts up his mini excavator at 7 AM, SUNDAY 7 AM........these things may be as small as a VW bug, but, they are LOUD.  And the exhaust fumes coming out of it are thick and heavy.  But, the noise was incredible and one could feel the vibrations of that engine along with the high volume drone.  I gave up trying to sleep anymore, I'm sure his immediate neighbors didn't appreciate that any more than I did.  This was a good 50-60 or so yards away, as the Crow flies.  OY   ::)
