Are there any that are good for obscure foreign language music? I've never subscribed to one because I figured their selection would be too Western skewed, but I used to love internet radio back in the Last.fm days and before. I know there's an app Parts has posted for streaming radio stations from around the world but I've never been able to get it to work.

Saw a big truck scraping its way out from under a low bridge,  he was lucky he didn't get stuck

Qobuz has a few weird choices, I guess, but above all a large collection.

Why is my cat so adorable when he is taking a nap?

Might be because anything he does, it's either adorable or mischevious

So the vine that was growing over the fence was a bottle gourd!
There's a singular gourd there that's still growing over the fence. It's at least 18" long!!
The question is what can I use it for?

I have gourd PTSD. :orly: Once when I was a kid, I was playing outside at someone's house and I noticed a dried gourd. I didn't see any openings so I picked it up and shook it, expecting it to rattle like a maraca from the dried seeds inside. Well there was an opening and it had a wasp nest in there, so they all stormed out and attacked me. I recall that experience every time I see or even think of a gourd.  :hahaha:

Shouldn't that make you anti-wasp rather than anti-gourd?  I mean, it wasn't the gourd that stung you.

Nope. I think that's a perfectly good reason for anyone to distrust a gourd.  :lol1:

I noticed this weekend a vast majority of people aren't wearing masks in the stores, and the stores I visit no longer have signs posted asking people to wear them, although the employees in one store were still wearing them. I don't know if this is all of a sudden, or if it has been gradually building and I just noticed it.  :dunno:

Everyone here is still wearing masks in stores, thankfully.

I'm still going to wear my mask until I see the results otherwise, I don't care if John Q. Public or Karen McBlabbyblab gets huffy at me about it... because anyways that old bat can screw off.

I'm slowly getting used to wearing a mask. I'd rather not wear one, though.

I doubt there will ever be any results against wearing masks. I think it was proven a long time ago, masks are helpful against spreading germs from respiratory excretions in general and that's why surgeons have worn them for a hundred years. There hasn't been a mandate here for a long time but most people still wore them and stores had signs suggesting or requesting them. I'm still going to wear mine too, but I've noticed masks seemed to have carried a message, and that message has changed as mask recommendations have changed. During the mandates it just meant being a law abiding citizen, then after the mandate the message was someone cared about not getting sick, then the message changed to identify someone who isn't vaccinated, then the message changed again to someone who many or may not be vaccinated but cared about not making other people sick. I can't help but wonder what message a mask is sending now, for the seemingly few still wearing them.  :dunno:

Online check-in is a pain in the butt due to the covid paperwork.
