Now it's closed to US citizens as well and some provinces are under a state of emergency (Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia)

We're cancelling the conference I'm one of the organisers for. There's no way in hell we can do it in June, the way things look now.

That's smart. Nothing like that here but two police regions have been informed that no one will be getting vacation and all hands on deck so I'm thinking that's coming soon. There was an arrest in Quebec of a woman who tested positive and broke quarantine to go for a walk around the block. But I think she had been misinformed on what protocol was. She was wearing a mask, in her pj's, early in the morning when no one was out. I think she thought if she didn't see/talk to anyone that it was okay. Police took her to the hospital without incident.

Dad, on the other hand, got conformation from so and so's husband that this person isn't interested in getting back onto Facebook...
