It's quite inconvenient to sit on your medicines.  You'll be pulling pills off your backside hoping you've gotten them all before PA walks in.

I sat au naturale on the bed to put my underwear on.  The pills were on the bed for me to take.

Lol at first I read that as 'out of your backside', as in you plugged whatever it was. But then had to look over it again when you mentioned pulling them out again, for if you'd plugged the things they would have to have been dissolved first. That said, apparently some people do actually plug pills of MDxx by just sticking them up there haha.

The days are definitely getting shorter.  Winter will be here before we know it!  :snowman:

Stop it!!!

It's colder, too. Summer's not over yet, though.

Both of you.

The first one that mentions the "s" word is grounded.  :roar:

Noticed the guy I was working for had three or four of those little one shot liquor bottles in the door pocket of his pick up while he was looking for something

That's for the morning coffee.  ;)

SO had a friend that always had a shot of whiskey in his morning coffee. Said it kept him going...must have helped he was cutting his own grass with a push mower up until knee surgery 2 years ago and had a wife about 20 years younger than he was.

He got hit head-on on a curve and killed by a couple of speeding teenagers this spring...he was 84.

http://s17.postimg.org/4gl3c4yvz/DSCN0825.jpg (iodine vapor, after heating a little hydrolysed iodine monochloride that had to go, to make way for a still pot for purifying my latest works.

http://s21.postimg.org/l6lct7frr/DSCN0834.jpg Quite large chunks of elemental I2, quite a good pic.

Next up-gallium. (gallium-indium alloy, actually, gallium is JUST solid at RT, but the moment it gets even a little warm, it flows like mercury. Ga-In and Ga-In-Sn (gallium, indium, tin aka galinstan are used in thermometers) And like mercury, it forms amalgams, and it strips the oxide coating from aluminium and prevents it reforming. The result is a disease-like spread of corrosion that literally crumbles the aluminium away. Its why mercury and presumably gallium are NOT welcome on planes because of the potential for in-flight disintegration with a sufficient spill, apparently.

Atmospheric pressure, relatively short-path distillation.

Been meaning to score a few large slugs of scrap aluminium from a local foundry to test it side by side, Hg and Ga.

The horrid looking black shit in the heating bath is just diethylene glycol brake fluid, works well with a BP of nearly 300 deg'C

The place that fucked up my car when they said I needed a new rack and pinion and then gave my car back with the steering all hosed up after putting in the new one didn't call me Thursday or Friday like they said they would do when the Manager was supposed to return from vacation. They said they would after I told them the second opinion they told me to get, since after a week they had no idea why the steering was hosed up, was that the new rack and pinion was bad. I just got back from the first place and they said they wanted to redo the rack and pinion, as opposed to letting the dealer do it and giving me my money back. Well, the dealer apparently finished the other work (airbag impact sensor) to pass inspection, but also never called me as they were waiting for me to call and let them know if they were doing the rack and pinion or yje pther place wanted to do it again. I know the car is done at the dealer, because I went over there and it was outside the bay door with a new passed inspection sticker. So another couple of days are lost with no car because of poor communication. I could've gotten the car back and already had it at the first shop again. Yesterday was my birthday, so after not hearing from either by Friday evening I just did not want any more stress on my actual birthday, given I had to deal with my son's friends coming over for his sleepover, the reminder that another birthday passes with my Mum gone, an absent father, no friends, and having to deal with the mother of my children and all of that baggage.

Two ladies in the shop, happily gathering clothes, and trying them on. When they left, more than three hours later, each one of them carried more clothes than I have in my entire wardrobe.

Amazing.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

They changed the traffic patterns on the highway where I went today since the last time I drove that way  could it be they are almost finished with the seemingly endless construction
