I've been chosen by a neighbourhood cat. She's visiting me daily now.

I've been chosen by a neighbourhood cat. She's visiting me daily now.

That is a guest to truly cherish.

My neighbour told me yesterday she was amazed at how cats all seem to like me. All the cats she ever had ended up spending lots of time either in my garden, or even in my house. Even the unpettable ones would come and sit close to us to get petted. And it is not just cats from her doing that.
I do not feed cats that are not my own. I do always have bowls of fresh water in my garden for visiting critters, be it hedgehogs, birds, escaped dogs or cats.

We tend to give the visitors something to drink, too. The cat seems to like milk. :)

The guy at the new convenience store is extremely friendly and their prices are less than the others around here,  it would be nice if that lasted

The guy on the other side of the street sure loves his car. Sunday evening he spent over five hours on cleaning it, yesterday, he spent another night on the car, polishing.
I passed it today, I saw he missed a spot. The ornamental bit on top was a bit dodgy. The rest of the effect was gone somewhat because of rain.

It's a black BMW alpina.

Autistic guy in my class likes Coke Zero, same as I do. We were at the train station heading home when he opened his bag and took out empty Coke Zero bottles. Ten of them. I couldn't help but laugh thinking he had been carrying those around for quite a while.

Christ...I am WIRED :P

Looks like there might just be something in this bisulfite reduction scheme for pseudoephedrine afterall...because damned, this can't just be pfed, I've taken it before and it makes me ill. Instead I'm bouncing off the fucking walls and 6 hours has just up and disappeared.

One of today's presenters was a woman who was so nervous that she inserted "um" between every second or third word or so.

hawai'ian shirts are in fashion now. that will make it harder for me to add to my collection. i saw an article where someone was boasting they had a collection of 10. i think i might have somewhere between 30 and 40 because i have strict criteria. has to be made in hawai'i or look like it. most of mine were made in hawai'i and a percentage of those are shirts i bought while there. the rest are from thrift stores but that won't be as easy until the fad dies.

there were a lot of hawaiian shirts at otakuthon yesterday but i could not figure out why.
