Lots of bicyclists around lately  and most are obeying the traffic laws.    A sure sign the Apocalypse in near :zoinks:

Fixed another TV...37 LCD...circuit boards were covered with dust from someone that used that scented carpet powder in their living room.

That stuff is lethal.  :P

Funny how there is a terrorist lurking in every corner now, if the papers are to be believed.

Hell, I've gotten them in my bedroom.

This was last week - I saw a Rolls Royce parked outside Centrelink. A rich car parked at a place for the poorest people.

It was Marie Antoinette distributing stale cake.  (Yes, I know the quote is hearsay)  I was also there distributing haggis.

Back in the 80s when I was in collage and living in a not so nice area near the school there was a family of Gypsys next door who had a Rolls in their garage.  Both the house and the garage were in rather poor shape but the car looked great  although I never saw it leave the garage,  some people have strange priorities

Weird isn't it.

Know some that will buy the cheapest ham they can possibly get for the holidays, cheapest cuts of meat, never fix anything with the house unless they have water pouring in, live with 40yr old carpet, and complain their back hurts from sleeping on a 35yr old mattress.

But they will get new cars every 2 years that hardly ever leave the driveway.

It's bizarre isn't it. I live 4 houses down from Centrelink and walk past there all the time. I have noticed the cars there are mostly pretty new - better than what I have. I can't help but feel envy.

Got my car serviced though and the guy there said it was in pretty good shape, better than some cars half its age.
