Helped the youngest build a fort in the family room. She's filled it with her stuffies and I provided drinks and snacks and now she's curled up watching a movie on tv :heart: I love the simple moments.

I saw a guy driving an enclosed landscape trailer with the rear ramp down and dragging on the ground followed him about 5 blocks trying to get his attention but could not.  I turned down a side street to go towards home and at a cross street a few blocks down he went flying by ramp still dragging  :dunno:

I wonder how many people tried to stop him to tell him something he already knew by the time he got to where he needed to be going :laugh: I would have tried to tell him too, but it's funny when you think about it. Him trying to get back to park it and intentionally ignoring half the town who are desperately trying to get his attention.

^ I was thinking the same thing,  I saw one other person try.  He must not of known the area that well because I was able to get ahead of him with a shortcut

Why do schools have the nasty habit of planning all kinds of irregular stuff in the week before a holiday? It's no fun starting a holiday with kids that are completely worn out by shit like that.

Especially the Thursday program, with some actors performing about booze and drugs, with too much sound, in a room where the sound had no way to go to, was not a smart move. That the group arrived over an hour late did not help either for the strict one of my kids. Takes her days to get rid of the tension she built up there.

Yesterday was not funny at home. Today it is better.
