Did my usual 2-3 mile walk today and the snow banks are melting and there are a lot of coins to be found.  $2.50 alone near the convenience store that I walk up to to get the paper.  Can't wait to see what shows up in the walmart parking lots when the glaciers melt there!  (That's the mountains that get pushed up by the parking lot plows!)   :mischief:  I find mostly pennies, but this year the quarters have been abundant!   8)

I saw two fully outfitted storm troopers walking along Route 1 today, one even had a blaster rifle.   :o

A bright red Aston Martin outside St Pancras today. There are always a couple of luxury cars outside the hotel, but this one was probably worth a couple of Mercs and Bentleys combined.

Huge fire at a big old former mansion near us.  Walked to see what was happening, the Porch on a side street was burned out, flames in a second story living room window, smoke billowing from the roof, people screaming and somebody getting CPR on the lawn by the burned out porch.    We could never find out if it was an old mansion turned into apartments, but, when Carla and I walked by there once some guy came out and yelled at us.   :-\   There was built up trash in the yard, and all that jazz.   I'm no forensic arson expert, but, it looked like the fire started on the blackened burnt porch and spread thru the building.   These old mansions burn like hell because of all the old timbers, spaces providing oxygen to the flames and other crap.   We shall see what the news reveals over the next few days.   Oh, and one last observation, last night we could see a HUGE bonfire in the backyard of the same house.    We could see it from our living room across from a house that is between us and the conflagration today.   Curiouser and curiouser.
