The volunteers working on the houses where I worked today were great for a change,  most of the time they are just a big pain in the ass

It's for kids. With depth. :)

Harry Potter didn't come out until I was in my 50's.  So I read it as sensible literature that matured as the protagonist and the original audience matured.  I don't pay much attention to the target age group, just read for the joy of a book or series.  Redwall is pretty good too.

Two of these dragonflies are flying in/above my garden at present.

Fascinating creatures they are.

That they are,  I love dragon flies did you know they spend the first part of there lives underwater where they are also fierce predators

Yes yes, they are fierce predators in their water 'phase'. I just love their ability to fly about so perfectly.. making acute angles in no time. Or the hovering they do.. lingering in one spot in the air. Brilliant.

How old can they get, I'm wondering now.

One day at the park a little dragonfly landed on my arm. I let him sit there for awhile...and then he crawled out of his skin. I never knew they molted like snakes! :)

My Brugmansia started to open up its first flower this season. Happened last night butz..

A lot of people who live at the condos I worked on today smoke pot,  almost every time I work there I smell it at some point during the day

Nice. Need to get some Datura/moonflower seeds for this fall. Miss those, similar and they do so well here.

My naked ladies have just started to bud.
