That wood glue I used for the 5" mortars is good. I tried to impregnate the plugs with shellac in alcohol. It turned out that about one cm all around was already "impregnated" by the glue.

Everyone is imitating my use of these smilies: :arrr:  :viking: :M

The viking smiley was originally on ZOMG. After I used it a lot there it was introduced here, and now everyone uses it every day. The ZEGH smiley is also becoming increasingly popular after I started to post about "fatty fat Americans" with it  :laugh:

Which reminds me: I got one of those the other day, too. Nigerian princes are not that common these days.
