PPK: I couldn't stand Fartloose... er Footloose.

Also, some of the pre 1966 stuff from the Bee Gees did sound incredibly like the Beatles, though a little lacking in substance.

Also it was rumoured that "New York Mining Disaster 1941" was issued to radio stations without a label (as an example) and the DJ's thought it was the new Beatles' single.

And there's Ayers Rock, Chain, Masters Apprentices, Madder Lake, Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs, Skyhooks and the La De Das.

They were all good too.

The Sharp were crap, as were the later incarnation of Sherbet - Highway.

 Most Christmas songs make me nuts, especially when I go to work and the kitchen radio,
 stationed right above my work bench, is tuned to a station that plays all Christmas music
 all the time.  Hearing 6 versions of  "Here Comes Santa Claus"  every day makes me feel evil!  :grrr:
