It looks unbalanced because the barrel is too long for the shallow handle.  The bullet holder doesn't seem long enough for the barrel and the finger thingie looks too small.  But then again I am virtually clueless when it comes to functionality of guns.

Or maybe a Glock 17? I'm not sure how a .45 would do against a bear, however.

I think it looks out of proportion because it's such a large frame, and the grip can't really be any bigger or you couldn't fit your hands around it. It's a real hand cannon.

After researching muzzle velocities and energy, I'm back to looking at hand cannons. There's no way a .45 would take down a bear.


I'm thinking the Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull, because it holds six rounds versus the Raging Bull's five.

454 gives you much better versatility and power + 10% greater initial surface area. 45 Colt 225 grain JHP @ 900 fps (good stopping power  ) all the way to 300 grain XTP @ 1600 fps.

I like this one better because it looks like the 6 shooters from the TV westerns I watched as a child.
