Cats are nice, but I'm not sure I'll have another besides our outside cat any time soon.  They're too difficult to manage when we evacuate.  The parakeet is quite enough and evacuates just fine.  No problem with the hotel.

What do you think of Springfield Armory's new XD series?

April of last year I bought an XD45 Tactical because it was barely used and the price was right and my friend needed the money. It is solid built, I like Glocks better in 9mm and 40 but I like this 45 better than my Glock 21 because of the smaller grip. I like the USP 45 best of my full size poly 45s. XDs are solid, well built pistols. If you decide to get an XD you will probably like it.
