What is the purpose of intensity squared?

I was under the impression that intensity squared is mostly a freedom of speech site.  The majority of people here being aspies or ASD seems mostly incidental.  And all other things that go on here are just on the side acitvities of our own choosing(not a part of its true purpose), or games with some rules just to ensure the spirit of the game is maintained.  Like the call out boards.

I'd say it's a freedom of speech site for auties, a place where we are given a voice, where we are enabled.

But it's also a pub of sorts, full of banter, pointless jokes, sexist remarks, and a fistfight here and there. ;)

I thought that once upon a time, the purpose had been to empower people on the spectrum and teach them how to stand up for their rights.

For me, it's one of the only places I know of where I can just relax and totally be myself without fear of doing something wrong or saying something wrong or offending someone, etc, etc.

Plus, I'm not really capable of maintaining friendships offline, so it's somewhere that I can have some human contact.

well i pretty much gave up on posting on other sites looking for support because certain people were kissing ass to their atvantage having my topics removed deleted or whatever. that shit wont fly with me, so i needed to find a site were it wasn't like that at all. and found it!
