When we tried it we always took a small spooon of sugar, dipped it in the absinthe then lit the spoon on fire to melt the sugar which we then mixed in, we seemed to think that was the ancient tradition but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else
or you could have just injected the sugar straight into your veins.

Here in Sweden you can buy it in a liquor store. But it's not something that appeals to me. I prefer single malt whisky.
